The best hostel
I’ve been going to YHA Mei House since 2015 when it was fresh and hip. My second trip was a downer, but I’ve yet to find anything quite like this property. It’s the only place in Hong Kong (especially for a hostel) that provides free breakfast. It also has excellent rooms though the age is beginning to show. This is becoming a problem at this hostel, but I figure they will fix it up soon enough otherwise they’ll become exactly like every other hotel in Hong Kong. I usually enjoy my stay here though that 4pm room time is absolutely ludicrous especially since ever other hostel and hotel waits until 2pm.

Hong Kong In March
Very quiet during the evening. The housing construction project create some noise 8-5. The twin room was big and could use a bigger twin bed.

Very nice.
Very clean and quiet. The Bed was a little hard, but that is subject to each person. Over all, I would stay there again.

Location is too noisy, to much traffic, too many people, very dirty, room size is big and cozy but the mattress is too hard very uncomfortable, the comforter is very old and beaten up very uncomfortable so every night couldn't get good sleep sometimes very noisy outside of the room. I felt like I had been living in a backward time it is due to the location and the set up of the hotel.
