    PROBABLY MY WORST STAY ANYWHERE
Many issues with the PP Princess Hotel. The place has great potential but falls short on the execution. When checking in we had to provide 1000 THB for deposit. Not that big an issue since the advent of credit cards which is normally where that is taken care of. The big issues were the bed and bathroom. The two beds, a full and a king, both of them felt more like box spring foundations instead of actual mattresses. They were so hard that neither one of us slept on them well. It got so bad that I used the bedding for any sort of padding and comfort. When entering the bathroom, you were faced with a strong sewage odor coming from either the drains or urinal. To the credit of the hotel staff they offered to move us to another room. If we were going to stay longer we may have taken them up on that change. Their immediate fix was to pour air freshener down the drains. It didn’t really work. The shower head was so caked with minerals and calcium that less than 50% of the openings were actually allowing water to flow out. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. They need better methods of protecting the buffet food from flies and other insects. And their omelet cook, she needs to know how to make an omelet. Not just smash the eggs into the pan till ALL moisture has been cooked out. Again, potential to do well if staff were better trained to inform managers of room issues and maintenance took care of the issues. No phone in the room, how do I call during an emergency?

    Expected better from a “resort”
Staff barely speaks english. Really hard to unerstand. Room not very cleaned and we found clothes from other guests on the cabinet... pool with closing time (??????????) restaurants are all horrible. Staff kind off lazy.

The best thing about this hotel was the pool and view of beach. It was probably better than others around but beds are hard, it’s smells so musty inside and outside like sewage, pics are better than in person, breakfast wasn’t great, extremely over priced for what you get. Location is perfect as it is walking distance to everything as phi phi is tiny. 5 min walk to pier. They have old school keys for hotel room and only give you one so that really sucks. 1000 baht deposit cash only.

    Close to everything
The hotel was great. Very close to the beach. Big nice bathroom with a large shower and large bed. Very spacious. The only negative thing is that some of the bars nearby play the music very loud so if you’re trying to sleep you’ll hear the bass echo around 2 am. Not the hotels fault but that’s the only negative thing. The breakfast options are also great

    Great Weekend Getaway
Overall we loved the trip. Phi Phi islands are beautiful and the hotel is in the most perfect location for exploring. Quick walk from the pier and everything you’ll need during your stay. Loved the beach club. Only issue we had was that there are no irons AT ALL. So if you want to iron your clothes after it’s been wrinkled up in your suitcase or backpack, you’re out of luck.
