Eat dinner here and then move along.
Stayed one night on the way back from a driving tour of west Cork. The price was very low. However next time I will pay more to stay someplace nicer. The walls were paper thin so we were up all night due to the noise in the hall and the room next to us (they weren't exceptionally loud, we just could hear every word they said). I had concerns with the cleanliness - stains on items that shouldn't have stains. Really outdated - the tv was ancient. Wifi was impossible to connect to anywhere in the hotel. The highlight was dinner - the food is very good and a great value and the service in the bar was great. I'll stop again for dinner but never again stay the night.

weekend in october
We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was comfortable and warm on a damp weekend. The twin room was perfect for a parent and child and we got a good rate by booking on line. The family made us welcome.

Abbey Hotel
Nice, quiet hotel located in a small village 30 minutes from Cork and Killarney. Friendly and helpful staff, with a good bar/restuarant.
