Good
Decent hotel, pool, good room service and restaurant. Internet was good. Priced pretty good. There are cheaper places to be had in the area, but this has a good level of comfort. Would stay again.

Lovely hotel, big rooms, no faults what So ever, although as an advisory note the pool only really gets sun to one half, and even then it's only for around 4 hours due to high surrounding buildings and the pool only being on the 3rd floor

Great gym, room was fine, do not recommend food
Room was clean, but a little old. Bed was comfortable enough. Most staff were attentive. The food was really bad when i went. club sandwich done with microwaved bread, eggs benedict on a piece of cold white bread with sweet sauce. Either breakfast or lunch, i wouldnt advise to eat there. Gym was really decent and spacious for Bangkok

There is always that one person...
I tried this property on a recommendation for convenience to meet friends and because my favorite hotel in the area was not showing available. The property is clean and the room spacious for the price. My room had a nice sized balcony but faced across the pool to another wing. Although the room is quiet, surprisingly so for the area, with the arrangement of the two wings across the pool from each other there is no privacy without the curtains closed. The staff is generally helpful and polite. However, when I asked for a blank, non-coded key-card (for security) to leave in the slot to keep the room at a reasonable temperature when I went out, I was told it was not possible, after which I was given a number of nonsensical excuses why it was not possible and why they could not do it, including “no hotel does that,” “in my 15 years experience, I have never know a hotel to do that,” “our staff are trustful, they have been working here a long time,” “we have cameras,” “leave your valuables in the room safe,” etc., etc. This is the first time in my life this request has ever been refused. They could have given me a new blank card, or a card with an old code, or they could have simply run a string magnet over the magnetic strip. But no, it is not possible. It is not just that the person in charge of the counter refused, it was more her arrogant, condescending attitude that was so offensive. It is a shame because the rest of the team was really great throughout my stay.
