Zowar international is a decent hotel. As the saying goes you get what you paid for. Staff is not really helpful, but that's hardly a problem. The hotel seems to be priced at a competitive rate and it's near the haraam. Look at it this way, zowar international is a minute away from Mövenpick hotel, while being only 30% the cost of Mövenpick. Hotel service isn't great, and the rooms are mediocre, it's close to the haraam and significantly cheaper than other hotels. If your planning on staying at the haraam a ton, and visiting other places in madinah, then I'd recommend it, but if you want to be comfortable and pampered, I'd definitely suggest staying at a better hotel. Also, I stayed on eid and the owner bought cake for their hotel guests. That was really nice.

Bring cash or no room
Staff refused to take a credit card and would not agree to give us room till we agreed to pay cash .they claim Expedia charges them to much so they have to take cash on Internet reservations. . After 20 hours on a plane we were burned and agreed to pay . Horrible breakfast . It was a direa crash course breakfast . We brought our own breakfast 2nd and 3rd day of trip only drank their tea which was good .

Avoid if u can!!!
From starting there was problems. I was greated by saying u r chking in very late so therefore u won't get rooms u booked eventhough my resv was confirm. The reception desk can't speak English. Too many things too list. Bottom line is I paid $700 for 5 nights which is way too much for this hotel.
