5 year anniversary trip
my husband and I stayed there for two nights/celebrating our 5 year anniversary. Very run down, but our room was clean. grounds needed attentions. staff was very friendly. boat dock seemed safe for our boat but road to dock was really bad. furniture was outdated. we didn't swim in the pools, but they looked clean and good.

Great little place in the woods.
This place was great. If you're looking for 5star service, hoity-toity expectations with no bugs or wildlife, this is NOT your place. If you are looking for peace and quiet, the smell of nature, very nice staff, great 2 level cabins/AC,crickets, swimming pools(indoor and out),being real close to SDC,being real close to a large marina and wildlife,THIS IS YOUR PLACE. We LOVED it and will be back next year.

Great family hotel
Really enjoyed. Hotel is a little dated but great. Clean rooms. Bed was comfortable. Everything needed was provided. Kitchen had dishes and such. Activities for kids. Price was very reasonable. Loved it and hope to return. Close to branson but not on the strip so good location for someone who wants to enjoy nature of area. Staff friendly and helpful.

Lake a short walk away!
We loved it there. The room was a little outdated, but we where out swimming in one of the many pools or at the lake that was just a walk away. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and the for the price you pay for your stay, its a amazing deal.

Great family stay
Th Tribesman Resort is a great place to stay if you want the feeling of being in nature. The terrain can be difficult if your mobility is impaired, especially when trying to get down to the docks, due to the incline and ruts in the gravel paths. The swim dock is quite a bit of a distance away from the rooms, which means you either drive or rent a golf cart. The lake was beautiful and the water was warm, and my family enjoyed it immensely. Our teenagers enjoyed the multiple pools, both indoor and outdoor, and my husband and I enjoyed the hot tub. The outdoor pools were well maintained, and you should expect leaves and bugs to fall in the water periodically. The room we booked included two double beds and a pull out sofa bed, as well as a kitchenette. This worked well for preparing meals during our stay, and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cooking ware, and cleaning supplies. The shower was very powerful and overall the room was exactly what we expected. The resort staff were kind and friendly. There were several animal encounters we experienced, including deer, opossum, turtles and fox. Overall, The Tribesman Resort was a great place to stay if you're interested in experiencing the outdoors and enjoying nature. If you're looking for a "hotel" type place, this is not it. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, but you should not expect fluffy pillows, plush carpet or ultra soft sheets.
