Room needs attention
Upon entering the room, it appeared nice. I attempted to make a coffee, but the coffee maker was missing the compartment that holds the coffee pods. I went to the lobby and the coffee machine there was empty. The balcony door in the room did not lock and the door stopper did not prevent the door from being opened from the outside, also was cold in the sofa area due to the balcony door not closing properly. There were no napkins, paper towels or a kitchen towel in the kitchen area. No soap in kitchen area as well. We used the 1 face cloth we were given as a kitchen towel so needless to say we had no face cloths to use in the shower. The couch was awfully uncomfortable, and the couch bed was horrible, my companion was only given a thin blanket that was found in the bedroom closet. So, turning up the heat only made the bedroom hot but sofa area stayed cold because of the broken patio door letting in the cold air. Other than that, the room was decent, roomy. Balcony was nice, chair cushions were soaked. A full length mirror in the bedroom would be nice. The free breakfast we had at 9am was awful. Everything tasted as it was sitting there for hours. Everyone at the front desk was polite and friendly. I have 1 picture and a video of the broken patio door, showing how ot doesnt close properly, doesnt lock, and how door stopper does not stop door from being pushed open.

The hotel is in a great location in Portland. The rooms are spacious and clean. But Jim on the front desk was unfriendly and actively unhelpful at both check in and check out.
