The Eight Bells, Haywards Heath
No Fawlty Towers Here
Really cute little inn. The rooms are in a different building across the street from the pub and restaurant so you can shut out any noise, which is not much. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Behind the building with the rooms is a church and graveyard dating back to the year 1000 or so. The tower with the “eight bells” is picturesque. The village is tiny and everyone is friendly. 20 minutes drive to Gatwick if you’re flying in or out. Fish and Chips dinner was great, as was our Full English breakfast, made to order. All the staff are all friendly, funny and very good at their jobs. Loved the Eight Bells.

Charming Inn with Character and History
What a lovely little inn. Yes, there is a 14th century graveyard right behind the rooms, but the neighbors are quiet! The pub and restaurant were great, the rooms right across the little street. Beds were comfortable with lots of pillows, bathrooms were nice and everything was clean. The breakfast was from the restaurant menu, to order. We had the full English and it was awesome. Bolney is a charming small town with great character and history. We want to come back for a longer stay next time!

Excellent country pub/inn
Spent one night here on a week's trip through SE England. Nice country pub. The three rooms are in a separate building just across the street from the pub entrance. Recently renovated and nicely furnished; new, large bathroom with separate tub and shower. Good food and service in a typical pub atmosphere. Among the best of places we stayed. Would stay again.
