Ostrich Inn, King's Lynn
Disappointing for a 4 star hotel
The room was very cold when we arrived. The WiFi does not reach the room we were in. Most disappointing was the breakfast room which was seperate from the main hotel. It was so cold we had to wear our coats to keep warm. The staff where friendly and helpful, but in all honesty I could recommend a stay.

Ostrich Inn, King's Lynn
Very easy to sum up my 2 nights at the Ostrich Inn Very pleasant staff, good food and beer BUT the establishment in general is worn out. the rooms are shabby and tired, the building which could be so wonderful is completely un loved and the owner need to get a grip rather than obviously cutting corners. Not up to standard and not recommended whilst in this condition. What a shame, if I were Green King management I would seek a new tenant that cares.

I had written to the Hotel prior to booking it to see if we could get a disabled friendly room as my partner is disabled. No one got back to me so I assumed it would be alright, but No...the rooms were upstairs and the bathroom was across a corridor. It was very unsuitable but we had no choice but to stay. I was told when we got there that the hotel was a listed building and had no downstairs rooms. I was dissapointed that no one had bothered to tell me this before I had booked. We had a very slow service to be shown our room, we also waited a long time to be served at dinner time and the food was cold when it finally arrived. All in all the hotel was not a place that I would want to stay in again.

Bad stay
The village of castle arce is beautiful but the ostrich is a run down over priced waste of time. Over priced rooms and and over priced beer. The rooms are very clean but dated. We had problems with the shower which took 2 days to a free beer so not bad..needs lots of investment before I stop again...I wouldn't recomend stopping to anyone
