Convenient, clean colorful hostel
The receptionist was kind, friendly, trying to assist me with my needs. It is very quiet, clean, tidy and colorful everywhere. The location is great to visit downtown Chicago by cts.

Close to Wrigley but that's it
The good parts : 1/2 a block away from Wrigley field. Area was great. Breakfast was ok. Hostess was a nice college student type. Bad parts : It wasn't great. They called It a bed, felt like a futon on the floor. Small cramped room, no TV. Bed was totally uncomfortable. Felt like I was sleeping downhill. No parking ( closest parking 4 block walk was $28 a day ). The first and last time I will ever stay at a hostel. Way overpriced for what was included.

Great Location for Wrigley Field!
My stay was a quick in-and-out, so I did not have a chance to get to know the hostel very well.

First Hostel stay
I had a great time at the Wrigley Hostel. The staff was very nice and accommodating, the breakfast each morning was good and plenty and the rooms themselves were mostly clean and good enough to enjoy each night and reminded me of my college experience. I do wish the rooms were a little cooler, but overall I had a very good experience. Most of the bunk mates in the room were nice and friendly. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. Nice to see that there were all ages there and not just younger people. The common room was great, I liked the big couch, TV, Foosball and pool tables as well as a bar area to store drinks and have a little party if you wanted it. There were enough bathrooms for everyone and they were clean. The hostel was a very interesting experience since I had not stayed in anything like that since college. I would definitely return here. I also liked that there was storage for your luggage if you needed it, fridges on each level for personal food and drink and again the great common room. The outside patio was really nice too. I went up there one morning for a while with my breakfast and enjoyed the nice ambiance. Again I would highly recommend this to anyone who is interested in staying in a hostel. This is not a hotel, do not expect it to be like a hotel, it is a great place to chill at night and have a place to get some sleep and some breakfast before your next day's adventures.
