Our Stay at Glendenning Hall
My wife and I were skeptical at first booking a college dorm room but after reading the reviews, we decided to stay here. We were glad we did. The room was clean and our bed was comfortable allowing for a good night's sleep. The kitchen area allowed us to make some meals and prepare our lunch sandwiches to take with us while exploring PEI. There isn't any maid service but clean sheets and towels were given to us on request. The location is convenient as we traveled to the four points of the island. The continental breakfast was good. Offerings consisted of muffins, yogurt, local bakery's bread for toasting, bagels, cereals, juices, and coffee. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent overall value
I needed a room to stay overnight in Charlottetown so I could catch a very early morning flight with my son. This had the best rates and reviews and I can see why. The guy who checked us in was excellent, super friendly. Room was very basic, but with two bedrooms and a small kitchen it provided excellent value. It is about a 5 - 10 minute walk to downtown, but nothing in the immediate area. The Front Desk agent was kind enough to pre-arrange a cab for me for the very early morning.

Fantastic space for family or extended stay
This place was perfect for us. We didn't mind that there were no decorations, very plain visually. We were so glad to get the 3 bedroom as our two teenagers would have not been happy to share the full-sized bed in one bedroom. They loved having their own space--each bedroom had its own tv and desk. Wi-fi worked great. The bathroom was laid out so sink, shower, and toilet each had a separate area--someone could use the shower and the toilet was still available for someone else. The extra bedrooms and the full kitchen made us wish we were staying for more than just one night before an early flight. The room was super clean, and the front desk staff super friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

Basic room but good value.
Our double room suite was comfortable while basic. Breakfast gave us lots of choices. Staff was friendly.

An Ode to Glendenning Hall
Upon entering the dorms of Holland College, we were greeted by the pleasant and wonderful Rex. Like most Canadians, he had a pleasant disposition and welcomed us to the beautiful, incomparable, red shores of PEI. And boy, were we glad to be there. Even though we only spent 1 of our 2 nights inhabiting the sweet sheets of this hotel (Islanders happen) we could not have been happier with our accommodations. Whether this is a threat, or a promise, we will be back for more.
