Good place to stay
Great location, lots of space, great breakfast!

Lisbon Story Guesthouse, Lisbon
unique but needs attention-
Interesting place- condition needs improving- cardboard window next to our door cancelled out great deadbolts and overall things just need fixing up. Hostel quality for hotel price- and homeless people and so much trash outside was a real takeaway from what could have been a decent area. But we liked the proximity to Rossini Sq and the yogurt, eggs and juice in fridge.

This place should not be called a hotel. Its more like a bed and breakfast. NO CREDIT CARD ACCEPTED without notice. Floors were dirty with cockroaches under the bed. No elevator. Bathroom needs shower repair. Al linens need replacement they were old, stained and abused. There is no management on site to resolve issues. Owner was traveling and did not care and was not available. DO NOT RECOMMEND. STAY OUT

Hidden Gem but not a hotel
The Guesthouse is a wonderful quaint place to stay. If you want more of a hostel type of location then this is your place. It is not a hotel. The pros of Guesthouse is that it is in a great location and easy to get to from the airport. It is in the middle of the city with access to trains and buses. They also are very kind. The cons of the location is that you have to walk up many different steps to get to the 1st floor and there are no elevators. If you don't get your own bathroom, you then have to share with others. But they keep the place very clean and it was not a problem. They do provide breakfast in the morning which includes bread, cereal, and juice. Important facts: the front desk closes at midnight. No elevator, no TV, you have pay in cash upon arrival. It is hard to find because there is no major sign. It is a little shady area at night.

Visit to Lisbon
Great location and friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast is great. The only negative is the street noise, which can be solved with earplugs at night.
