Yurt in Penticton
Excellent stay right on the beach - great for a relaxing couples getaway with access to wine country. Facilities are fairly new and well maintained.the Yurt is very airy and comfortable. If you are into Crossfit their is a gym right acroas the street. I would stay again for sure. The only drawback was that there are not a lot of restaurants in the area. Plan on driving or taking a taxi if you want to dine out. Your yurt does have a barbeque though!

Loved the yurt, hated the location
The yurt village was awesome, we loved everything about it. The yurt was well set-up, very new, modern and very clean. Loved the little kitchen and the bathroom. BUT....the highway and the airport are just too much and too loud as you are literally on top of both. It's such a shame to say we won't be back because of the highway and the airport, but hearing jets on the runway at 5 a.m. was too much. Our sleep was very disrupted because of the airport and our evenings weren't very relaxed because of all the helicopters landing. We also thought that the campsite was right on the beach and it was not. So that was disappointing as well. If you are a sound sleeper and won't be bothered by nearby planes or highway noises, this is a great little yurt village. If you are a light sleeper, maybe use ear plugs, that could possibly help.

Yurt was beautiful/location & construction was not
Yurt was very nice. King bed was amazingly comfortable and amenities was nice. But the joy of the Yurt was not enjoyed as overnight construction caused vibrations, noise as Yurt has little protection. Unfortunate location next to busy road and airport runway. Had to leave after 1-night, didnt try out beach. heavy sleepers might be ok after overnight construction ends.

Really nice staying
Family holiday. We slept in a Yurt . Very nice accomodation and clean in a small campsite. Really kind people at reception. There is a pretty restaurant Just outside the resort and a good gelato place. I Would suggest it!
