Tent stay..
My trip to yosemite was not well planned ahead and I had to book the hotel only the day before my trip. I couldnt find any good rates near yosemite other than Yosemite Gold Country Lodge. The people running this place are really nice and friendly. I booked a tent(the only ones available). I had to check-in very late so I called in ahead and they put a safety cone infront of the tent for me to easily spot the tent at night. Inside the tent its just a sleeping bag and air mattress. My tent was clean, no holes or bugs inside. For the price, I shouldnt be complaining but still they could do a lot better. As others complain, they have only two restrooms for the people in tent and during my visit, one of them is too filthy and out of order. I took the shower in the evening after a long hike to subdome and there was no line and restroom was cleaned. The trash bin was overflowing in the morning although they cleared it on the evening. Make sure you carry earphone/plugs if you want to sleep early. Neibhours being loud and cars moving in are understandable but the staff working on tents late evening [after 9 pm] and moving things in their loud ATV inside the tent area was really annoying. I got a full LTE network since Coulterville is just 0.5 miles. Dont expect any dining nearby, make sure you have all your food packed if you want to start early or arriving late. Yosemite valley is 1.5 and Glacier Point is 2:20 hours drive from here without traffic. Bring Tent Bulb, battery backups!

It was the wrong place! I made a reservation for Sonora and got some place else, and they wouldn't help. I will never go to this place or recommend it.

Friendly people. Room lacked basic stuff ... no hooks in bathroom, no shelf or soap dish in shower, one electric space heater for 3 rooms, window blinds are broken & won't close,
