Domus Liberius, Rome
Good option for short and long stays
The hotel was in good conditions in general. Great location and practical operation

The property was clean and the staff was polite and quick to respond to any questions. The rooms were clean and good sized for the proce and location. The room we stayed in looked nothing like pictures on the website. While we had a beautiful view from our room, the walls and everything were stark white with dirt and smudges all over them. No decor or anything on the walls to "warm it up." Appeared like an empty white dorm room. Ither than that, the stay was perfect for one night. Few blocks walking distance to the termini train station which was just what we needed, and also 20-25 min walk to the colosseum and many restaurants and markets. Great one night stay.

The location is literally in the shadow of the major basilica of Rome, Santa Maria Maggiore. It is extremely easy to navigate the rest of the city given the proximity to the bus depot at the train station. I am normally leery of hotels near train stations but this was a pleasant surprise! The interior layout of the hotel is a bit strange, i.e., corridors that lead to more corridors that lead to remote guest rooms, etc. There was a fair amount of night noise from the street so not the most quiet rest. Breakfast is convenient and fair.

Sal was awesome!!! He makes you feel at home and teaches you how to get around the city. FOLLOW HIS TIPS! Keep in mind that it is a bed and breakfast and breakfast finishes at exactly the time they say. Its sufficient but not out of this world. But everything else is amazing! Big room too for european standards.

Great location
Location was great, but the hotel wasn't easy to find. Hotel was quaint, breakfast was good. Bed was hard, but room was spacious. Able to walk to many tourist destinations, and close to termini train station, but hard to walk with luggage as all the sidewalks are cobblestone. Overall we enjoyed our stay there. Staff was very helpful.
