While the website is clear that parking is not provided and available by the hostel, there is not a good overnight solution for parking. There is an EasyPark parking garage two doors down, but there is a limit to the number of consecutive days you can stay parked there (if I understood the guidelines correctly). Also, the day resets at 6am. You can add another day of parking by purchasing it remotely through the EasyPark app, but it is not user-friendly and reliable. This hostel is a great place to stay if you do NOT have a vehicle. If you do have a vehicle, I recommend thorough researching parking options before booking a room here.

Definitely a HOSTEL
This was the cheapest stay close to Rogers Arena on a concert night (Paul McCartney). The location is excellent if you want to be within walking distance of everything in downtown Vancouver. This is a HOSTEL - so do not expect 'hotel' amenities - I knew what I was getting into so was not disappointed. The front desk is not staffed after 7:00PM (so you have to check-in before that time) in non-summer dates, and bathroom facilities are shared. We were given a room on the top floor after an unseasonably warm day in April - as a result the room was stifling hot, and even with the window wide open there was no air movement (no fan in the room). Ask for a second floor room on a hot day. These are intended as cautionary tips not complaints.

Location and staff are awesome.
It is like your usual hostel with rooms that have bunk beds and what not. However, unlike most hostels you can rent rooms. My friends and I had our own bedroom that had two bunk beds to fit all four of us. So we did not have to worry about other guest and having to worry about our belongings. You do share showers and toilets with other people on the same floor, but they were clean. Each room also comes with its own little sink. The staff is also super awesome and very helpful!!! The description given by hotels.com is a little confusing even the person we talked to from hotels.com was not sure. So here is a quick breakdown of the hostel bathroom situation. So each floor has its own set of toilets and showers that are shared by all the people on the same floor. Only individual sinks are located in the room. Hopefully, this helps others.

Hostel experience from a 60 year old female view.
Overall a good experience. Location convenient and brochure to help you get around on bus to tourist spots. Probably not good for those who tend to pack heavy as there are stairs to navigate. Hostel with basic necessities.
