Our Rome Getaway
The rooms are very nice and you can see the effort that is made to make the rooms comfortable.

Amazing Hotel and Location
We loved this hotel and all the staff. I have seen several reviews with regards to the noise level from the bar below, but they are all WRONG. We stayed in the Michaelangelo room which was directly above the bar, Coming Out, and we never heard anything when we were in our room during the day or evening. We loved the staff, the perfect location next to the Colosseum and train station. We will definitely be staying here again when we return to Rome.

Was certain continental breakfast was included when I booked the hotel, but was told "no" upon our check in. Bed's a bit uncomfortable, thin mattress, horrible pillows. Loud with people slamming doors, carrying on in hallways at all hours of the night, well after midnight. Nobody available upon checkout, but door to "front desk" area was unlocked, so we just put our keys, front door key with a note on the desk and left.

Poor 2.0
Dirty and not family friendly
Pretty shocked at how unkept this hotel is. DOES NOT LOOK LIKE THE PICS. Many reviews I saw said how clean it was...I Thought the room was dirty. Came w our 3 year old daughter didn’t realize it was on “gay street” and a gay hotel w two loud bars down stairs. Which is where you are suppose to have breakfast. They assured me it was family friendly but I just didn’t feel comfortable staying there w her so as soon as we saw the room we left and ended up staying at a different hotel. I was frustrated that it is not more pronounced on hotels.com. The girl was nice at the front desk but They would not give me any refund which is frustrating but that is the poilicy. More frustrated at hotels.com because I just wouldn’t have booked if they had been more transparent. So we ended up paying waaaay more at a diff hotel but it was cleaner and more comfortable. Also the stairs suck esp w a stroller but a lot of hotels don’t have elevators so not a huge shock.
