Casa Prado, La Paz
A Good Boutique Hotel for Bolivian Standards
Casa Prado does not provide drinking glasses in the rooms, only in the lobby, where water, tea and coffee are provided. At first we were given a room on the second floor, and we asked for drinking glasses. We were told that glasses are not provided except in the lobby, so we asked to move to a room next to the lobby and we were fine. The white towels and sheets were yellowed and looked old and dirty, but they were clean. For the same or lower rate, we could get a better hotel in Buenos Aires. Our conclusion is that in La Paz hotels are more expensive and standards are lower. Casa Prado is good for Bolivian standards.
