Quiet stay
Very quiet building, perfect for a lone traveler

Small room. Fair price
As others have said, there is no concierge service, although my text messages were answered promptly. There is a beautiful park about 2 blocks away and the Colosseum is nearby. The room was very small and either garbage pickup or the concrete smashing machine showed up on the street under my window at 5 am. Bring earplugs. John made sure our continental breakfast was prepared before we left each morning for our Roman adventures.

Okay stay. Nothing special.
The hotel was just fine. It's hard to find because it's an unmarked apartment building. You have to ring the right floor. It seems like there's no office there. I got an email asking when I would check in and she was there to let us up but we didn't see her again throughout our stay. The attendant spoke almost no English but we were able to understand each other. There are just a few rooms and a shared kitchen on the floor. You get a key for the room and the building and you're on your own. The room was clean. I can't complain about the comfort of the bed or the state of the bathroom. It was all good. It just wasn't amazing. The location was okay. It was about a 15 minute walk to Termini, but it seems a little residential so you have to walk a bit or take the Metro to get to any area with a lot of shops and restaurants. I didn't hate it but I probably wouldn't stay there again.

Nice location,friendly & in a great neighborhood
A clean, simple yet adequate place, very close to the Colosseum & Metro A line which will get you to most of Rome's major sights. Sits in a quiet residential neighborhood with supermarkets, restaurants & cafés close by. Use of a kitchen & refrigerator. The breakfast was ample. Bread, cakes, yoghurt, tea, coffee, juice etc. A simple & tasty start to the day before heading off on your Roman adventures. Similar price as a hostel but with the privacy of a hotel. The friendly staff were helpful & welcoming. There is no manned reception, so you mostly have the place to yourself apart from one or two other guest's. Definitely a great place if you have a limited budget and you like the convenience of it's location, which was perfect.

Good stay, good location, good price. Good.
Good stay. Slightly thin walls so we could hear the loud neighbours in the next room. Good English breakfast tea. Breakfast could have been better. Would stay again as it was a great location.
