We didn't expect the room to be so small. There was only one chair to sit in, anyone else would have to sit on the bed. We think the bathroom might've been a closet before. There was only a toilet and stall shower. Even though the room was reserved for two people, there were two bath towels, wash cloths, and one hand towel. The bathroom sink was in the actual room next to the bed. We found that odd. We were on the bottom floor, so when we opened up our curtains to see our view, there was just a fence. Big negative, parking is 4 blocks away. The staff was incredible. We came and went at all different shifts and all staff greeted us and asked if they could do anything for us. The snack area was always clean and always had hot coffee and ready at all hours. This hotel is located in 'Little Italy"part of town. We did not know this when we booked. We totally lucked out. There is about 6 blocks of Italian restaurants and other businesses owned/managed by Italians. The restaurants are superb from elegant to your best tasting pizza. In the end of their pavilion is a beautiful fountain that is full of light after dark. We would definitely stay in this area next time we visit San Diego.

Had to park 4 blocks away and walk back to hotel and move the car by 8am in order to not have to pay for parking. Also fire alarm went off in the morning because someone cooked toast.

Not happy with stay checked in room and there was other proples hair all over the floor. Then we pay for there parking and someone else parked in our parking spot so had to walk back and forth 3 times to me my car cause of someone else parking in my spot. Then i check out and they charge me $4.98 for using the safe when they did not even tell me about it. Then the last day we found a big spider in our room. Not happy at. Will not be going back there every again.
