Be Forewarned.
I rarely post reviews, I figure everyone generally tries to do the best they can. But with this property, be forewarned, you won't get any sleep if you stay here due to the commotion of the drunks out in the street. Ironically, they get drunk in the bars attached to the hotel and then keep the guests up all night. I actually ended up calling the cops myself. I complained to the hotel desk staff in the middle of the night and in the morning. They were apologetic, but of course there wasn't anything that they could or would do about it. I was told, "we try to make it clear in our hotel information that we have two bars on the property and that the place is loud." I was also told, "it's not for everybody." Guess it's not for those who want to get a night's sleep.

Haunted Birthday
We stayed here for my daughters birthday. She wanted to stay in a haunted hotel. We didn’t see any ghosts so that was a disappointment. Haha The room was large, the beds very comfortable and the location couldn’t be more downtown. There is very little parking so you may have to park across the street in a parking garage for around 10.00. Checking in was tricky because of the parking. You have to pay for ALL parking on the street in Flagstaff.

A fun and funky vintage hotel in a great area
This is a historic hotel in downtown Flagstaff. It's a great vibrant hotspot area where you can shop, hang out at cafes, bar hop or dine out. This hotel has had some renovations recently so it's a bit nicer than previous. If your standards are high and you are wanting the Four Seasons, this is not your hotel. It has a ton of character and is still rough around the edges but the rooms are clean, the location can't be beat, the cafe and bar downstairs make a great lounge/people watching place and the staff is pleasant. We have stayed here before and we will return again as one of our favorite destinations. Some rooms can be noisy - ask for a quiet room when booking. Upgrade to at least a queen room with a view for the best bet. Still a bargain.
