Very Good 8.0
Location, location.
3-4min walk to JR or subway metro stations (Okachimachi or Ueno-hirokoji). Nearby eateries open late. 24hrs Don Quote across the street. Next to the hotel is a convenience store open to 12am and pharmacy drug store across the street. About 40min ride to and from Narita Airport on The Keisei Ueno Skyliner. Location is superb and not too far from Tokyo station. Location alone makes staying at this hotel worth it.

Good 6.0
Air conditioner direction wasn’t right
The air conditioner’s air vent was direct to the bed, I felt sick after a night of wind-blowing to my head. The toilet paper is so thin

Exceptional 10.0
Great value for central area of Tokyo
Great price for the area of Tokyo near Ueno station and lots of great shopping and the park. The rooms are small, but the hotel rates are good and include breakfast buffet. The breakfast was ok, not amazing but not bad. The rooms are very petite so just be prepared for a small space.

Poor 2.0
Can’t accept
After you see their official photos, don’t think that this is the same when yo arrive the hotel. It’s totally can’t acceptable. The cleanliness and is so old. We finally decide to leave the hotel and wasted our 3 nights money.

Good 6.0
Japanese style sleeping quarters
Hotel is located at red light district with many pubs and clubs. Ours was the samurai room, there are steps in the room and it will not be convenient for old people and small children. Good breakfast variety with local and western choices. There is a family mart across the hotel entrance, supermarket besides, so it is convenient. Hotel is about 15 min walk to Ameyoko market. Staff do not make up beds daily, only help to clear the trash and replace towels
