Very basic small room with balcony. We got an older room with old style bathroom. Very small. Maybe their other rooms are better. The area is a bit on the rough side- not as clean and tidy as other parts of Japan. My son (20) loved exploring the many shops and eats in the different alley ways though.

So Good!
We arrived late and our check in was seamless. The room was clean and very soacious compared to other same styled rooms we’ve stayed at before. The Famliy Mart just outside the lobby is worth its weight gold. Location for a tourista is very choice. 2 thumbs!

Great location. Staff was friendly (though English was limited). Room was clean but a little old. Outdoor bath was clean and relaxing. Lots of amenities in the bathroom (shower things, hair brush, tooth brush, etc.). Lots of restaurants and shops close by. Quick walk to Ueno or Akihabara. Would definitely stay here again.

2/10 Poor

1. The pic is different: the looking new white colored building in the picture on the right is not Centurion Hotel Ueno. It's actually Centurion Hotel Spa. I stayed the brown colored one on the right in the picture. 2. Noisy: The wall between rooms is incredibly thin and because this hotel has cabin room which allows 5-10 people to stay in one room, you cannot sleep without annoying noise going through the night.
