A inexpensive alternative that is on the river however it’s not much more inexpensive than other hotels and the rooms are fairly outdated. The Wi-Fi would not work or I could not log I’m not sure which. Ice machine was also shut off. Property owners seem to want to save money more than provide for guests. Overall it’s not bad as a value stay.

Absolutely terrible! Specifically, the hotel owner. I booked for 3 nights through Expedia which advertised as dog friendly. Hotel advertises a $25 per pet per night . Hotel owner yelled for my party to leave the hotel immediately because we had more than one dog. She continued to yell and act aggressively demanding that we leave immediately. Asked to be reimbursed for the remaining 2 nights and she proceeded to pepper spray me. I filed a police report with the local police. She then charged my card an additional night fee for the dogs to which we did not stay. This is a classic bait and switch situation that when you ask for a reasonable refund on the nights you paid for and did not receive, the owner escalates aggressive behavior to get you back on your heels and depart immediately for fear of what she will do. Do yourself a favor….bypass this hotel! It will save you much aggravation, especially when you are trying to enjoy a much needed getaway.

Peeling paint, bad smells, stained LR futon. Stained smelly and frayed carpets throughout. Visible dust bunny’s hangling from lights walls and under nightstand. Black ice in pathways and not cleared 2 days later. This was their studio/suite(?) apt style which is is across hall from full time tenants. Enter Yes into building h Ad a pile of clutter and filthy smelly carpeted steps. I could Le not stay there I had to book another last minute property.

A hidden gem of a low-cost place to stay in a lovely area. It was clean and smelled of candles, seasonally decorated, and comfortable. The river outside was lovely. It’s not luxurious, but it’s well situated for an amazing experience in Jackson.
