Very Nice But Maybe Not Worth the Price
Charming hotel in a great location with a lot of old world, historical charm. Excellent service. Almost feels European. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. But the ultra small lobby, coupled with lack of a restaurant made me feel that the rooms are overpriced.

    Old world charm plus comfort!
The staff was terrific. The rooms were comfortable, cozy and the bed was awesome. The neighborhood is great. I'd stay there again and recommend it to friends.

Not high on the High Line Hotel
The Positive: It is in a great area, within walking distance to many sites including the Chelsea Market. Michael, the bartender, is awesome! The Negative includes: There was issues with the water pressure, without water twice during our stay. When it came back on it was the color of cola, had to let it run for over 5 minutes before clear. No coffee - had to get dressed and go downstairs to the tiny lobby to purchase coffee Departure: ordered a wake-up call for 5:15 am. Failed to deliver. Called the lobby at 5:50 for luggage assistance (stairs from elevator to lobby). Person on the phone said he would check to see if anyone could assistance. 5 minutes later the phone rang - it was the same person with the wake-up call! 40 minutes late! Said they were too busy to call. No one showed up to get our luggage, so we hauled it downstairs for departure to the airport. The lobby was dark, no one around. We found a security guard who went to get someone. The person comes scurrying into the lobby - his shirt was a wrinkled mess - we had obviously woken him up!! No coffee available at 6:00 am I wouldn't recommend paying over $200 for a room. The rate is much higher and not worth it.

    Another fun visit!
The high line is so fun and cute. We loved our room, we love the coffee, and we love Chelsea! It was also great to be able to use equinox for free.
