The High Line Hotel, New York

The charm is good but is outweighed by small room and tiny bathroom, odor in room, and lack of attention from staff.

High Line Highs and Lows
The hotel staff on balance were very helpful if a bit understaffed. The television service was spotty and unfixable. The room itself had a great bed but non functional furnishings. Outdoor bar and sitting area good. And bicycles for guest use outstanding. I had a premium room in a non premium location street level on the corner in a busy area of lower Manhattan.

Best stay in NYC!
Location was fantastic (just 2 blocks away from my son, but the area is awesome anyway). The room was comfortable and quiet. I enjoyed the gym down the street. Service was top notch!

Nice hotel, nice location
I booked this hotel because of its location (away from the most touristy part of Manhattan) and different appeal than "commercial" hotels. It satisfied everything I expected. The rooms are smaller than usual, the foyer does not have a check-in desk. But it has a coffee shop and coctails, and was always crowded. We saw a lot of people with dogs, even huge ones stay at the hotel, just wondering where they fit them in the room? Very quiet rooms, lots of character…..

Mother/Daughter Trip
Perfect choice for a girls stay in a non modern decorated hotel in NYC. Slightly away from the hustle and bustle but still in a great neighborhood with easy access to all.
