What happens in.. Pinnacle, must not go! :)
Service? Friendly and unique. Hotel (in and out)? Great view, clean place, well maintained, very peaceful. Food? A wide selection, both savory and sweet :) Well worth the mandatory food and beverage fee. Drink? As long as you are 19 years of age (in Canada), you can drink alcohol anywhere in the lodge, and additionally there is hot chocolate, a variety of Tazo teas, a hot water dispenser, a coffee station available 24/7 in the second building (of 2). I like the convenience. It met my needs for some relaxing time off... i loved it. My favaourite night was when a fire going and smores were offered bt staff, with home-made chocolate. Food, drink, fire, new people to chat with and a clear view of stars and the moon.. man i cant complain.

BEWARE HIDDEN COST -Mandatory Resort Breakfast Fee
We were very surprised to find a mandatory $18/person resort fee for breakfast. It's hidden way down in the small print - additional costs. But HIDDEN for sure. The $18/person breakfast was NOT worth anywhere near $18. First morning turned out to be a vegetarian day - Great?? $18 egg bake. Second morning was bacon and pancakes - no eggs, sausages, hash browns, etc. There are other options - cereals, bread, fruit, but an $18 breakfast this was NOT! Add an additional $36 to your room price per day to get the real price. On the other hand, the hotel was nice, and facilities were good. A bit far away from the village though, for skiing access. And Richard, the manager, was very nice and friendly.

This is TIMESHARE and NOT a Hotel
This was advertised as a hotel and we wanted to stay one night while we overnighted from Jasper to Vancouver. It is NOT a hotel - it is TIMESHARE and is completely inappropriate to be listed as a hotel.

Must go back.
The Pinnacle is a unique Hotel in a quiet location which is close but not right in the village. Richard, the manager is an outstanding host who is sure your every need is met and that you will enjoy Sun Peaks. The breakfast is outstanding.
