Unicoi Stay #2
We had family staying in 5 rooms - bathrooms had mold in 3 of them. It was reported to the front desk. Mary Ann said she was keeping a notebook and notifying housekeeping and the general manager about the issues. Convenient area for our needs. Comfortable room. Make sure you ask for non-smoking if you want it. other rooms very smelly. Black mold on shower curtain in 1 room, Pink mildew on shower curtain in another with black ring in toilet. Mold on bed headboard. Housekeeping needs to do a better job but otherwise the accommodations were good.

Good location, musty smelling room
Room was musty smelling but dispated a few minutes after you enter each time. At times it was very noisy.

Family Friendly Place to stay
The Lodge offered a family friendly environment and nice surroundings. The provided an evening bonfire, courtyard area with swings and beautiful scenery. The staff were polite and helpful. My two complaints were 1. The dinning room had good food, but it was overpriced. 2.The cleaning staff came to the room late; after 5pm when we were trying to get ready to go to dinner.

Hidden fees
The room was dirty, food under the end table and along side the beds and under the chair, they did bring us clean towels everyday, but when I went to check out they told me I had to pay an additional lodge fee, which I was never told about. the guy told me it was on my expedia page and I didn't even book through expedia, looked over my reservations and no where did it say anything about a lodge fee. let's just say I will never go back and stay in the lodge.
