Just Perfect
Celebrated our 1 year Anniversary here! We were welcomed with at the front desk with a complimentary drink and then when we checked into our room there was a bottle of sparkling wine for us with a personalized note. It was thoughtful! We love staying here and can't wait to get back!

Our Recent Visit
We had never visited Charlottesville before. We got very lost trying to find our way. But we did have a very nice visit with old friends

Nice people. Minimal comfort. High prices
Wonderfully nice people. Many attentions to détails, but...overly priced (more than 200 USD without breakfast) for this season in Charlottesville: no vacationers, no graduations at University of Virginia. The comfort is minimal. No shower caps, no Q-tips, and the room temperature is locked. I like to decide for myself.More of an ex frat-house converted to a B&B. As most of the time, when a hotel calls itself a boutique, it means small hotel, small rooms and high prices.

Great alternative to other hotels near the University, but it might not be for everyone. Three old houses have been renovated into a 27-room boutique. The staff are great, the location is great, and the ambience is great, but travelers should anticipate some of the creaks and smells that come with an old house.

Perfect Engagement
The Oakhurst Inn was fantastic. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and the location is close to enough to anywhere near the area you could possibly want to go. Perfect for anybody looking to plan a surprise weekend trip to propose to their partner and help make the trip that much more magical.
