March Cottages B+B
The B +B only had 4 rooms which was perfect as we travelled my mother who has dementia. The owner was very understanding and ensured our rooms were next to each other and cooked special food we had bought with us for mum's breakfast. She liked the b+b and said that the room was cosy and comfortable. The b+b was quiet (perfect) and a stone's throw away from the A303 (brilliant for our needs). The room was clean and tidy, with windows that opened and windows showing a small patio area with many potted plants.

Quiet village location
Accomadation was simple and clean. Breakfast was excellent. Food in the village pub was outstanding. Need a car for access though - no public transport, and taxis were expensive.

Mixed feelings
We arrived shortly after the time we would and Chris came to see us after that having left a note in the office door which room we were to have. We had problems locking the door from the inside and left it open for the night. Chris said that the door was swollen because of the weather. I tried to have a shower in the morning but there was no power or water. Chris said that they had lost water pressure from the mains. I have no reason to doubt Chris's word, but the offer of a partial refund might have helped. The cooked breakfast was very good!
