Need to improve the room condition
Strategic location, walking distance to the street arts areas. Unfortunately the room that was given to us has an air conditioning problem, temperature maintained at 27°c during the day and night. Very difficult to get a decent sleep in the heat. Made a complaint to the front desk but after a visit frm the maintenance guy, still no positive change. We decided to endure the second night since we had a very early check out on the next day.

Good 6.0
money value but HOSTEL amenities and BAD service
Complained about the air conditioner and got it fixed for 3 times but still works bad, leaking and not cold enough. so dont even bother. no phone in the room! useless for a service, called several times and u have to actually look nice going outside the room. even the iron u share with others which is a long walk to our room 304. wheres the privacy? nothing yo. quite a hard bed. and not clean sheets. might as well pay for a hostel! staffs werent friendly too except for the one that greeted us during check in at around 930-10pm at 9th Feb. Luckily the toilet was nice and the area!

Hotel leaves a lot to desire
Checked in took longer than expected. Never mind. No baggage service, despite having several large bags. Got the room key - smart card. Opened the door to room no. 517 & were met by a furious guest. Apologised profusly. Returned downstairs to reception - no word of explaination or apology, was handed another smart card, this time for room no. 521. Entered the room. Empty. Ok. Massive great big square pillar right next to the bottom corner of the bed. Large room, but no storage space for luggage. Had to open all bags on the floor. Windows flapped & banged in the stormy night. TV was ok. Good selection of channels. WiFi is intermittant. Room service is very slow & dull. Resturant (not part of the hotel) offers reasonable meals at reasonable prices, but tea was exceedingly bad.

Family trip
The check in and check out were very prompt and staff were very friendly. Most importantly, the location was central to some fantastic local eating places and 10 minutes walk to Komtar complex. Overall the stay was enjoyable.
