Hostel
This not a bed and breakfast, more like a hostel that serves breakfast.

This Hotel Canceled My Reservation
This hotel claims that Hotels.com had canceled my reservation and informed me that they are fully booked for the night when I arrived. I am a solo female traveler and was completely distraught upon hearing the news. The receptionist insists it's not their responsible as "Expedia, which is partner with Hotels.com, is the one that canceled your reservation". I showed him my Hotels.com app which still show my active reservation for this hotel. By this time it was about 4PM. Where was I supposed to go at this hour and will I be safe? The hotel receptionist continued to insist they have no responsibility and told me my options were either stay at other hotels in the area but pay double of the room rate that I booked for, or I can stay within my budget but need to stay in places in unfamiliar areas much further away from the city. I was still very shocked, confused, and most importantly very concerned about my safety, when the hotel receptionist told me to hurry up and decide or step away from the check-in desk because he needs to help other hotel guests. He just delivered the most awful news to a solo traveler but he felt inconvenienced? Just the completely lack of empathy. I started stepping away, still upset, he look at me and said, in a tone, "You Are Welcome". As if he's doing me a favor after basically kicking me out of their hotel even though I had a confirmed reservation. Oh and I spoke to Hotels.com later and there's no record of them canceling my reservation.

Botanic Rest Belfast
A small room but clean and. All we wanted to do was shower and fall into bed at the end of the day anyway. Convenient to walk to train and to/from city. Easy to find. Nice little side trip up to the Botanical Gardens and Ulster Museum. A few restaurants and cafes nearby. Desk staff good with directions etc. Breakfast was provided, quick service, and pretty good.
