A Hidden Gem
We arrived late but we were greeted by the owner who was very accommodating and helpful. We woke up to an amazing breakfast and good conversation with very friendly and interesting B & B guests after a very comfortable nights sleep.

Friendly Bed and Breakfast with campsites in back
Red Rooster Lodge is a bed and breakfast in a wooded residential area. A. and S. were friendly and welcoming hosts. We were first greeted by their dog, so I was glad I had read about that in a previous review. The bedroom was comfortable, though we shared a bathroom. Breakfast included several options like fruit, cereal, toast, coffee, and hard boiled eggs at a family style table. The campers in the back were a bit noisy the night we were there, but when we closed our windows we slept fine. Don’t expect the same level of privacy as a hotel, but the Red Rooster is well maintained and was a great stop for the price on our way to Yosemite.

Great value, comfortable stay and helpful hosts
Great Value. Close to Yosemite, and comfortable. We especially appreciated Adam and Stephanie's helpful recommendations on the best hiking options. Breakfast was excellent. I hope to stay here again in the future.
