Comfortable private cabin with nice space
We were a family of five exploring Yellowstone on a budget. Hotel rooms are *expensive* in that area, especially for 5, so we were looking for a bargain. We found one here. Each "room' is a standalone cabin. Oddly, they're all second-floor cabins, so you have to go up 6 or so stairs to get in. Our cabin consisted of a bedroom with a bed, a living room with a bed and a couch (probably a pull-out, but we didn't check), a kitchen area and a bathroom. Everything was clean and neat. There was a decent collection of pots, pans and dishes. It was handy being able to cook dinner: there isn't much around this place for restaurants... We needed to print out a form one morning and the staff was *very* helpful, even at 6:30 in the morning. This place seems to specialize in fishing and hunting, which didn't do us much good, but if you are it seemed helpful. All in all, a comfortable room with plenty of space for a great price.

A roomier and cheaper alternative to W Yellowstone
We liked the Driftwood. It is about 20 miles outside of West Yellowstone but it is a fast drive. Good things to know that aren't listed on their website: hair dryers, stove burners, pots, pans, dishes, and silverware are provided. Had I known that I would not have lugged that stuff across the country. The brown log cabins are new and clean. They had great wifi and plenty of tv channels. Down the road, 4 miles is a laundromat and in the other direction, you will find a little town grocery and Subway sandwich shop. While staying in West Yellowstone would have involved less driving, we enjoyed the extra space in the Driftwood Lodge.

Beautiful get away cabin
The room was just beautiful. The decor was rustic but in a modern way and so spacious. The amenities were wonderful complete with refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, and even a little stove. The cabins added an extra privacy. I just loved this place...I felt like we were on our honeymoon.

Yes, recommended for 1-2 night/s stay.
It was as expected except the kitchen was tiny. Cabin was clean and bed were comfortable.

No A/C made for an uncomfortable, noisy night.
The cabin was adorable, we felt right at home with the decor. It was very clean and had everything we needed except for AIR CONDITIONING!!!! And because there was no a/c, we had to sleep with the windows open and the road noise from vehicles was awful. I don't think we slept but a couple of hours all night long. For the nightly price, I think it wouldn't be too much to ask to put a window a/c unit in there. I think this was the first time in 56 years that I've been to a motel/hotel without a/c.
