Great b&b
Spacious rooms and plenty of parking, locally sourced cooked breakfast. Friendly hosts with a wealth of local knowledge

Excellent stop over but would stay longer .
Excellent place to stop over for the night on our way up to the highlands and islands. Very friendly and comfortable. Excellent breakfast.

Great value and great host
Most enjoyable stay. Norman is a terrific host, the room was spacious and included an outside decking area. High quality cooked breakfast and smooth coffee.

Adequate, but nothing really special.
Rooms lovely, parking excellent, location adequate. Contrary to others, although generously sharing his local knowledge, we found the owner could do better to give guests a bit more space for their own thoughts, particularly during breakfast. The breakfast itself was certainly OK, but no more than that compared to various other B&Bs in the area. We had no problems with being asked to limit hot water use; a reasonable and responsible request. However, the smell of cigarette smoke that pervaded means we wouldn't stay again.

Stornaway Black Pudding
I must take issue with Norman The best black puddings come from Bury in Lancashire. With this minor exception the stay was excellent.
