When we first arrived at the hotel they could not find our booking. After a little while, phone calls, looking at my reservation confirmation from hotels.com we finally got our room. The second day of our 2 night stay we received a phone call. Sorry we cant find your booking, how long are you staying etc. A little weird but all seemed sorted. On the sunday when I went to check out. Nope couldnt find our booking again. It took forever for the lady to input the data again, I showed he the reservation confirmation again, and the price in USD. Finally she worked out the conversion and I paid with my debit card. One month later I received a phone call. "Im sorry but you havent paid your bill"...me: "excuse me???" Yes I have. So I sent them a screen shot of the debit to my account. Then I received a message. "I´m sorry but we cant find it...what account did you pay it into? me: I have no Idea we used the card machine in the hotel. Them: What time was that? me: In the morning maybe 10am. "Okay I will search for it" 3 days later. "I´m sorry to bother you but I still cannot find your payment for that amount, can you please send a copy of your receipt." me: "I no longer have my receipt. I have sent you a copy of the transfer from my account" If you do not want to have this hassle...choose another hotel, there are plenty in Bogota to choose from.
