Hlemmur Square, Reykjavik

The room was nice and I really liked the bathroom. It was my favorite part. However, the bed wasn’t very comfortable. Also, the room was very warm and I asked the front desk if there was a way to cool it down. Their solution was a very loud and dusty fan which we didn’t use. Also, the day we left the elevator was out of service and we had to carry a large heavy bag down 5 flights of stairs. I would recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a good location but no bells and whistles.

Felt more like a tastefully decorated apartment than a hotel room. Will definitely stay here again!

Great location, and we found parking across the street, though it might have been harder had there not been a spot - and tough to transfer luggage from car inside. Checkin was great, got a free upgrade, and loved the room - though there was a noisy party upstairs all night, I didn't mind it. What bothered me was that my wife got very sick from the mussels - and she never gets sick. And when I brought it to their attention, they briefly apologized, and that was all. At a minimum I think we should been refunded for the mussels, but they offered nothing.

All bedding and the bathroom were top level but the cleanliness could have been Michel better so as the sound insulation too as we could heart perfectly the people that came late during the night as they were talking too loud in the corridor
