Great location - decent hotel
The location can't be beat in downtown Lancaster, especially for the price compared to the other big hotel in the square. You get what you pay for here; the service was decent, room was ok but smelled moldy/musty, and the breakfast was super minimal (but it doesn't seem they have an actual kitchen, so we were understanding). In the end, price wins for us, so we're totally fine with a few minor downsides for a convenient place to sleep.

Under construction
I was in town for a convention and this was a convenient location. It's a good location. The room was comfortable. However, it was under construction. There was a lot of noise related to the construction. I was awoken very early one morning by a fire alarm telling us to evacuate the building and not use the elevators. Of course I'm happy nothing was actually wrong, but it was a little irritating to find out someone had tripped the alarm and we were all disturbed in our sleep. The hot/cold handle on the shower was broken, so you had to try and guess where you wanted it when you turned it on. You couldn't adjust it once the water was flowing. Lastly there was a bunch of mold in the blueberries that they had at the breakfast bar. Luckily I saw it as I put them into my yogurt, not after I'd started eating. But I lost my appetite. I think the hotel normally is a nice place, but they have some maintenance that needs to be done and probably keep a closer eye on the breakfast stuff.

Location, location, location!!!
Great location. Undergoing some renovations. My king room was everything you’d need or expect. Walked everywhere downtown. Great time.

Good services but do bring some ear plugs.
Taken from my 7 year old's mouth: "Noise, noise, noise". We stayed on the 6th floor Friday and Saturday night. The ceiling and walls appear to be quite sound proofed. We can't say the same for the window or the door. We could hear people talking on the street from 6 floors up. The doors spring shut quite heavily and will likely wake you up. While these are common problems in many places, it's less than desirable if you wish for a good night sleep. I do have to point out that the noise was substantially less on Saturday. Perhaps we were just too tired from the night before and our bodies refused get awoken from the noises.

Nice hotel. Convenient to downtown. Ease of parking garage next door with reasonable overnight rates.
