Potential…
The front desk staff were super friendly and generally speaking our stay was fine. The sheets had stains / dirt on them that appeared as though someone with dirty shoes had made them. The floor had a very large section that was unavoidable and had a loud squeak, so getting up in the middle of the night and being quiet wasn’t possible. On that same topic, the bathroom door was also impossible to close without a loud noise. The toilet ran every other flush and required removing the tank lid to settle the flapper. We did enjoy the individual cabins and ability to not worry about noise above, below or beside. But we do wish that the condition of our unit matched the 8.5/10 rating that this location has.

Overnight stay-from wyoming-frequent traveler
Check in experience less than impressive, woman at the front desk was rude. I travel with a service animal and she was upset she had to move my room to a pet friendly room even though I had called and asked prior to booking. I was given one key because she stated “house keeping was being greedy with them.” The room had an odor, old carpeted, and fabric on walls I assume are the culprit. Room was spacious, had what we needed and the beds were comfortable. Check out was much more pleasant, checking out a different woman was warm and friendly.

Subpar experience
Hotel didn’t have Wi-Fi, the hot tub available or really any hot water for a bath or shower. Disappointing after a long cold day at Yellowstone park to not have basic facilities available. This place is fine if you want to do nothing else besides visit the park and go to sleep at night, but does not have any of the perks that a typical three star hotel has.

This was my second stay at Hibernation Cabin and I loved it again. The cabins are beautiful and cozy and so big for the price. They provide free tea and coffee and hot cocoa in the office everyday and the staff was so kind. We used the kitchenette daily in our cabin. The lodge is located minutes away from the west entrance of Yellowstone National park and close to a McDonald’s. Only complaint is that the hot tub was closed so that was a little disappointing in the winter. But overall I would definitely stay here again
