Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort, Nusa Dua

Loved hotel. Stay in a lagoon room which was beautiful. It included access to club lounge where my family had a beautiful afternoon tea every day as well cocktails and nibbles at night. Only critism I have was that rooms have a lot of black so was very dark. Would stay again loved it.

When we arrived at the hotel, there was event from one of biggest company in Indonesia, so occupancy was about 90% above. It is a little crowded, but we were fine. Big hotel and with many rooms, but I expected more in Sofitel, overall our stay was just oke.

Sofitel was under a lot of construction in and around the hotel that was not mentioned at booking time

First we got there after the check in time 4pm but yet our room still not ready, we had to wait about 45 minutes . They did offer us some pastry while waiting. We booked 2 rooms and one of the room ac was not working properly and there was some smell in the room. The other room was good however located too close to next door hotel clubmed and they had an event that night , the noises was so loud and It didn’t end till around 1:30 am. The next day, we request to have our room changed cuz we had booked to stay there for 2 nights . They took the request but didn’t get back to us until I went back the third times to the front office . I finally got one of my room changed around evening while keep one of the noisy room because it’s easier to deal with noise than smelly and hot room. To compensate our unpleasant experience, the hotel offer us a free shuttle to the airport the next day which Is the least they can do for us. I am impressed with their food buffet, the variety of food and it tastes good. I will not go back to this hotel again.
