Room was microscopic. No WiFi reception in the room. Located in the boonies. Good breakfast and we could use the sitting room where we had wifi. Water in shower just a dribble. Hosts very nice.

Wonderful overall.
The location was great, even though a bit off the beaten track. The room(s) was a bit on the small side, and especially low on storage, but was comfortable enough. Nora & Tim made up for any issues with the accommodation with their warm welcome and helpfulness.

Convenient, if slightly cramped, accommodation.
B&B accommodation within walking distance (just over a mile) of Kate Kearneys Cottage. Room was small with the double bed against the wall on one side - only accessible from one side. Owners were pleasant and helpful.

Purple Heather Holiday stay
My son and I stayed in Purple Heather during the last rather wet week of August but the warm welcome, wonderful food and hospitality in our accommodation was fantastic. Tim and Nora were excellent and very attentive to all our needs. We had many warm conversations and they were always keen to hear about our plans for each day and then they would check up on how the day went. Tim also booked our mountain guide so we could climb Ireland's highest mountain (Carrauntoohil) which we looked out at every morning during breakfast. We made the climb and had a fantastic day and felt a real sense of achievement. Tim and Nora looked after us as if we were family. We look forward to our next visit. Paul and Joe

Excellent B & B
Stayed for 2 nights in May 2015 for a quick getaway visit to Kerry. Excellent B & B situated close to the Ring of Kerry. Ideally situated for visit to Gap of Dunloe and Killarney. Recommended. Excellent attentive hosts Tim and Nora who go out of their way to help.
