Rather remote hotel. We were the only ones in the house, which was a bit unnerving at first. Smith couple was staying in a cabin in the property. The hosts were most gracious and fixed an outstanding breakfast using fresh blueberries from yard and eggs from the free range chickens on the farmstead. Our TV only had either DVD OR VCR option as no local channels. They did have literally hundreds of videos to choose from which we enjoyed a couple of classics. Water has high sulfur content, which the hosts acknowledge but still has strong smell when showering.

A Very Enjoyable Trip to British Columbia
The proprietors, Harold and Fay, made all of us feel very welcome. I called Harold to inform him that we would be very late arriving, and he was there to greet us well after midnight. He and Fay were up very early the next day to prepare a most delicious breakfast for us. They were genuinely interested in us. We rented all three of the bedrooms from them. They couldn't have been nicer. I would definitely recommend Harrison Hammond House Bed and Breakfast to anyone interested in getting away for a quiet retreat.

surrounded by farm land
This B&B is not your usual B&B. Our room was off a sound studio. The room was small but the beds were comfortable; our bathroom was adjacent to the room rather than en suite but was for our use only. Breakfast was excellent and overall we were satisfied.

Family trip, enjoyed our stay in the Hammond B3 room very much. Felt welcome, freshly made breakfast (including fruit from the farm) was delicious, scenery pleasant, and company delightful. Railway nearby but was not loud and did not disturb our sleep; peaceful and laid back stay. Short drive to Harrison hot springs was a plus. Will stay there again, possibly in one of the standalone cabins.

Quaint farm B&B
Very different than any other B&B we've ever stayed at before. It's about 10 miles outside of the resort area of Harrison Hot Springs where the rest of our party stayed. We didn't mind this at all, in fact it was nice to stay more in the country. The main downside was the terrible mosquitoes! That's not the B&B's fault though. They're only there we were told from June 15-July 15. Another downside that we didn't have to deal with is having to share a bathroom with other guests. The room that shares with us was vacant though. The breakfast was AMAZING!! We left the table very full every morning and I have a huge appetite. My daughters loved the 2 dogs they have (black lab, and a mut of some sort), both were very docile and sweet. They also loved the chickens and being able to pick raspberries and blueberries on site. The surrounding area is farmland and the scenery is beautiful. We're from Florida so just seeing mountains everywhere we turned was really neat. The owners Harold and Fei (pronounced like Fay) were extremely sweet. Great 2 day stay. We did go into the resort area because there isn't as much to do where we stayed. Although there is a beach, golfing and petting farm nearby.
