You can’t beat the location for staying in Morgantown. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. It seemed as if they were doing some remodeling and we could tell as soon as we got to our room. There was a layer of dust on everything. Also the doors to the rooms slam shut so loud that anytime anyone on the floor opened their door you knew right away which was rathe annoying at all hours of the night .

Dangerous hotel .... new owners BEWARE!
I was assaulted by two males in the hallway that were not staying at the hotel. Punched in the face over trying to get one of my cigarettes. They were roaming the hallways. The night manger knew the people and refused to release video to police. I have stayed here over 20 times in the last 10 years! Never again! Don't stay here it's dangerous! Doors to hotel are never locked, multiple entrances. And overnight there is literally ONE staff member who is in charge of front desk, and the security for the night. This Hotel is under new management! Update: Their security camera system does not record. Wow! The night manager allegedly lets his shady friends party in unoccupied rooms for free.

Parking is an issue!
Don’t listen to them when they say you can park at the bank across the road. You’ll get towed just like I did.

Mixed Experience But Won’t Be Returning
My wife and I came to Morgantown for a night to see her sister. The hotel was in a great location. It was super easy to walk a few blocks to meet up for dinner. The parking garage required a small fee and was fine. The room was much bigger than anticipated but they didn’t not even attempt to fill the empty space. We didn’t care- the room was overall what we expected. We had a few complaints though. There were no blankets on the beds- only 2 sheets. We were freezing. Also, the hotel was under construction and a mess in certain areas. Finally, around 3am a group of heavily intoxicated individuals were screaming, running around the hallway, and banging on doors (including ours) for over 20 minutes. So overall, we barely slept. We will not be returning here. It isn’t the worst hotel we’ve ever encountered or anything like that- but there are numerous better options for the same price all around the area.

Looks nice until you get in there
The advertised hot tub on the roof and the roof top bar were gone. We were charged parking. The heat was broken in our room and ran full blast all night long. The fan in the bathroom did not work. The are doing construction and have no bathroom for patrons to use in the lobby. We booked because of the advertised roof top amenities & were extremely disappointed to see they were removed and yet they are still being advertised as I write this. The advertised breakfast is fruit & packaged breakfast bars...nothing else. The only offered beverages were Keurig coffeee & tea, no juice or other drinks. Not good when you have kids and they advertise a breakfast. The place is really cute and in a great location but it is a mess and when you book in Feb they shouldn't charge you parking for a new parking garage policy they started in mid March. The place was a total let down.
