Nice views but promised ammenities neglected
Hotel views are nice. If you come in the summer time, you’ll probably be fine, but during winter, it was a disaster. The room barely heated because the windows weren’t properly sealed and none of the common spaces were heated. Even the employees wore their winter parkas indoors. The shower had very little pressure if you wanted hot water and the food and breakfast options were disappointing. The “free” WiFi was trash and you could do nothing on it. It was in and out constantly and reception had to reset it every time we wanted to log on. This doesn’t matter as much, but every day housekeeping would replace our soaps, and I found this very wasteful.

Not quite the expected Wyndham quality of service
This is a very difficult hotel to find in Cusco. Not many local people know where it is. We stayed in a double (2 queens). They only provide 2 towels which is okay if you only have 2 people. They gave us one hand towel and one wash cloth so I had to go ask for 1 more of each because we had 2 in our room. I booked 3 rooms...only 1 had hot water. They called for help and it was never fixed. It was more of a shrugging of the shoulders by the staff when they should have offered a new room or fixed the situation. There are heaters mounted to the wall. They put off heat eventually but not enough to warm a room or reach the bathroom so it was very uncomfortable when you have no hot water and no heat in the bathroom. We ordered room service which was probably the best thing they had going for themselves. You can count on that part of your trip.

Everything under maintenance
Staff was friendly but there are many things that are not advertised. The first being the location. The distance from the. City center to the hotel is correct but the hotel is located within an unsafe area. We were constantly told about the dangers of being robbed if we were to walk back in the evenings and even had taxi drivers try to charge extra due to the risk of going to the hotel. The next thing is the spa and oxygen bar. Both are closed for maintenance which is also not advertised. Also, the heating in the lobby area is under maintenance. There also seemed to be a shop within the hotel which is now an abandoned space. If you’re just looking for a bed and don’t care about taking a taxi to/from the hotel, this hotel will work. However, if you have expectations beyond that, I would recommend a hotel closer to or within the city center.

Not Wyndham quality
Location of the hotel is a bit away from the center but the view of the mountains is great. Breakfast was horrible...very basic and no variety which is low by Wyndham standards. The room was ok, but the shower was worst ever.

The hotel and staff were excellent. The location is the only downside, there is no real "entertainment" (restaurants, lounges, etc). There's only a small sundries store right across the street and that's about it.
