Good Not Great
Cool chic hotel in the Badaro area. Very trendy spot at a decent price if not a little overpriced. The hotel itself I enjoyed however I've probably never met a more complacent staff for what should be considered a high-end hotel. Constant mistakes that lend me to believe it has to do with the training of the staff. It's not as if they didn't want to try to do a good job they simply didn't which means it stinks from the head. The most egregious had to be in the outdoor restaurant. Constantly late with food, forgetting about what I ordered, wrong food coming out. Just a complete failure on all aspects. The front desk didn't do much better. The lower staff seems completely clueless as to what their job description is. Also you will pay a different price for the same item in different parts of the hotel; one price for the diner outside and a different one inside. The traditional food in the back was pretty good but the diner out front was completely awful. Nevertheless it's a very interesting and cool place to stay they just need to get the kinks worked out and train their staff immensely better

Small on everything
Booked a premium room for two weeks at this hotel, because of its location and it having a swimming pool. The pool was used once, right before the whole floor was closed for construction work. Our room was 2 floors below the construction work that took place, between 9AM and 5PM, daily. The constant jack hammering was extremely unpleasant. Room condition left a lot to be desired. Out of 40 some TV stations, 4 were English speaking, two of which had a constant frozen picture. The bathroom condition was exceptionally bad. Toilet had a broken seat which made it a challenge to sit still. Balcony windows had not been cleaned in several months, years maybe. We had to plead incessantly with room service to get any type of help with concierge services. Most personnel were very rude, stared constantly and made us feel unwelcome. The hotel restaurant had trouble matching our preference in preparation of meat. Breakfast, although not included, was mediocre unless you ordered something specially made. Spoke with the manager at checkout regarding our sub par experience. No compensation whatsoever was offered. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.
