About Viceroy Central Park New York, New York

Innovative design hotel with rooftop bar in Midtown

5 minutes to Central Park

The Viceroy New York is in the vibrant center of Midtown, between 6th and 7th Avenues, a 5-minute walk from Central Park. You'll be on the same block as Carnegie Hall - upmarket shopping and dining at Columbus Circle is 3 blocks away - and a 7-minute walk will get you to MoMA.

10 museums on the Mile

For a concentrated dose of culture, you can't go past Fifth Avenue's Museum Mile, starting with art from every era at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The Museum of the City of New York collects artifacts from NYC's past, and the iconic Guggenheim has a wealth of contemporary art.

Rooftop cocktails

A great way to take in the marble and modern art of the lobby is with a craft beer at Kingside, which also specializes in New American Cooking. After a workout in the 24-hour fitness center, the nautical design and views at The Roof make the perfect backdrop for cocktails.

Wood, light, WiFi

Light from floor-to-ceiling windows highlights the rooms' stylish wood, leather, and custom Sferra® linens, and a Beats™ by Dr. Dre™ stereo dock provides the soundtrack. Bathrooms feature Neil George spa products, there's WiFi (surcharge) and a smart HDTV.

percy NYC visit
We felt, after looking at the room photos online, disappointed in the standard rooms. We may have been misled by thinking we were getting a more luxurious room; and we were disappointed. The staff seem to understand and tried to make amends. The staff was great!!!!! The rooms we had 1102 and 1101 were in need of maintenance; stuff obvious to on site management; normal upkeep; painting and refitting jammed doors, etc

My “upgraded room” was anything but. The room felt very used - so many knicks in the woodwork, super skimpy bedding, poor lighting and no clock. Disappointed for a Viceroy property and price. Expected more.

Great location. So very many things within walking distance. Room was nice. Linens were comfortable and changed daily. Bathroom was tile and stone with separate shower and toilet. Coffee in room and free wifi. Rooftop bar was very popular and fun.
