About Viceroy Central Park New York, New York

Innovative design hotel with rooftop bar in Midtown

5 minutes to Central Park

The Viceroy New York is in the vibrant center of Midtown, between 6th and 7th Avenues, a 5-minute walk from Central Park. You'll be on the same block as Carnegie Hall - upmarket shopping and dining at Columbus Circle is 3 blocks away - and a 7-minute walk will get you to MoMA.

10 museums on the Mile

For a concentrated dose of culture, you can't go past Fifth Avenue's Museum Mile, starting with art from every era at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The Museum of the City of New York collects artifacts from NYC's past, and the iconic Guggenheim has a wealth of contemporary art.

Rooftop cocktails

A great way to take in the marble and modern art of the lobby is with a craft beer at Kingside, which also specializes in New American Cooking. After a workout in the 24-hour fitness center, the nautical design and views at The Roof make the perfect backdrop for cocktails.

Wood, light, WiFi

Light from floor-to-ceiling windows highlights the rooms' stylish wood, leather, and custom Sferra® linens, and a Beats™ by Dr. Dre™ stereo dock provides the soundtrack. Bathrooms feature Neil George spa products, there's WiFi (surcharge) and a smart HDTV.

A nice place
It was nice and clean, centrally located

I really like the viceroy but it could use a refresh in the rooms. My sink was nearly falling off the wall and once of the draws fell apart when I opened it.

On 22nd floor. Corridors felt narrow, our room tucked around corner. Made me a little nervous if there was an emergency. Room nice, decor vintagey and dark. Just not my taste. Staff friendly

Unfortunately greeted by rude staff and all in all disappointing in a “5 star” hotel treating us in such a fashion. Rooms were clean but very small, we bought a city view and were given no such thing... very disappointed for what price we paid.

the place is not well kept or at least our room was not. there was no door on the shower. when we arrived, the light was not working in the bathroom. there was chipping paint in our room and throughout the suite. the guest rooms look nothing like the photos. we had to ask for housekeeping service each day. it was quite cold in NYC during our stay and we had a hard time staying warm in the hotel room. would definitely not recommend or stay at this hotel again
