Okay 3/5, not great, not terrible - no pub
The resort itself is nice because of the land - however none of the amenities mentioned were available. There is no pub and no restaurant even though listing mentions 2 different pubs/restaurants. There are no food delivery services like Uber that will come to location for delivery. I couldn’t find the pool table that was mentioned that they have either. The tennis court is in rough shape with grass coming through the concrete. The free breakfast is just bread with butter/jam/peanut butter, cereal, muffins, and two types of cereal - that’s it - and only open 8-9:30 am. There is also no microwave in the rooms or sofa - just two chairs and a table. The beds aren’t terrible but only one pillow is given for each person and the pillows are so flat - definitely ask for at least two each person. The rooms are right next to each other and you can hear your neighbours- not great for privacy. Basically the place has tons of potential but it has a run-down look. It’s a 3/5 hotel. Wasn’t much of a “Resort” although I’m not sure how it looks at a busier time of year.

Would not stay again
The key points about our disappointing stay are 1 on arrival reception representative not helpful in answering questions about area - had to ask him to put his phone down and come over to counter to speak to us 2. Breakfast the worst I have ever experienced, room filthy with cobwebs and dirty tables, we were the only persons in the breakfast room so hardly a high demand on staff 3. Spoke to some guys who had belongings taken from room, I do not know what happened in follow up but glad to be leaving after 1 night This could be a great place but the staff/owner have no idea on how to run a property- a great shame as it has potential

2/10 Poor

poor quality of goods and services
the property was very dirty full of cobb webs and very poorly maintained, quality of goods and seevices provided was also below average and the prives were very expensive almost priced to four star rating hotel and it is not value for money at all. it was a shocker for the family to pay such huge amount of money and receive such poor quality of stay. we stayed for two nights. this place needs better management for upkeep of maintenance of property and learn to provide clean and hygienic conditiina to its customers.

Update needed. Comfy beds
The rooms definitely need an update, and there is a weird smell when you enter them. However, beds were comfortable and clean, the place is so quiet, we slept like babies

6/10 Good

We go to this place every year with 10 other couples. Since new management 2 years ago the conditions are getting worse No room cleaning towel changes Pool area is a mess with broken boards & peeling paint in the pool. The rooms are dark & very dirty. Might be looking for a different place for next years reunion Never saw one staff member in 3 night stay. There was garbage left in our room which I left outside my room It was never picked up. Very disappointing as it could be a lovely inn but has been left too long in disrepair
