Nice relaxing stay
Beautiful little ryokan located right in the midst of what makes Kyoto so nice. All sorts of restaurants and shopping are within blocks in every direction. The staff was wonderful and really goes all out to make you feel welcome. The onsen was very nice and the whole place was very clean. Would definitely book here again next time in Kyoto.

Wonderful & convenient stay.
Our stay at Kagihei was wonderful. The ryokan owners are sweet people; they're very warm and helpful. The ryokan is located in a super central and convenient place, close to Nishiki Market. Everything from the breakfast to the onsen (Japanese bath) to the room was perfect – very enjoyable and comfortable. It's a very nice Kyoto experience.

Above and beyond amazing! :-)
I am recommending this ryokan to all friends and family. The location is amazing- in the heart of everything! And this location has a lot of heart. The ryokan innkeeper made me feel so at home and was so kind and helpful. I ate out for dinner and had to leave early for an event. They were so kind as to bring me a plate of breakfast fruits and yogurt so I would not leave on an empty stomach-Without any asking. I know it's included in the price, but most places if you do not cater to their time frames, then there is no food for you- but they went so above and beyond! Arigato Gozaimasu my new friends-I'll be staying with you again. :-)
