Hotel Borgo Antico is ideal to visit Lake Como in terms of location, history and services. The hotel building and rooms are beautiful. Breakfast covers a good variety of choices. We love this hotel and will stay there again if we visit Lake Como in the future.

Really nice small hotel. 10 minute walk into Como. Staff were super helpful. Spotlessly clean. We had a very early start to get to the airport and were given warm pastries and fresh coffee before we left.

We were there for our honeymoon. They received us with champagne and a cute welcome note. The hotel is super close to the train station and walk-in distance to the city center. We liked that separation with the city center because when we were there (a weekend), the city center and town’s square turns into a mini Cancun with lots of young people drinking and hanging around. So, it was nice to come back to a quiet spot. There are restaurants and bars in the same street too. We ended our nights at the bar across the street where you can sit outside and have a glass of wine in a less noisy environment. Also, I loved being able to get freshly made hard boiled eggs for breakfast. Overall, it was a great experience. We highly recommend this little gem.

Perfectly efficient, clean and quiet hotel. Simple breakfast with coffee to order. A very slow but functional lift to help when arriving and departing with large suitcases. Good selection of restaurants and bars within 50m walk. About a 10 minute walk to central Como. Would return when next in Como.
