Conveniently located comfortable hotel in Berlin
Steigenberger is located across the street from the Hauptmann train station which gives guests easy access to getting around the city. many of the "hop on, hop off" tour buses stop directly in front of the hotel making it super convenient. They also have an underground parking garage which is great! Front desk staff is knowledgeable, helpful and nice! There is a spa on the 5th floor which we took advantage of. Spa staff was very accommodating about scheduling. The rooms are big and the beds & pillows are comfortable. The bathroom is also large and includes a soaking tub/shower. There is a mini fridge in the room which is great. also, the usual in room amenities: safe, large closet, iron, large desk, ample outlets and plenty of light after the sun goes down. The rooms are very quiet. We did not hear either street noise or noise from the halls. Unfortunately the hotel restaurant is closed but there are many restaurants within a couple of blocks. Heads-up that most restaurants close 9-10pm, even on the weekends. Would definitely stay there again!

Walkable distance to central station. Hope on hope off city tour buses stop in front. Some of the landmarks are walkable distance. Hotel cleanliness, service all superb. Excellent breakfast.

Beyond Reproach
The Steigenberger is as good a hotel as you can hope to stay in. The staff is attentive and friendly, the robot butler Jeeves is a nice little novelty, the location is a stone's throw from Berlin Hbf (although there's little else of interest in the immediate vicinity), and the breakfast is the best I've ever had at a hotel.
